The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will meet in Buffalo for their next meeting, scheduled to take place Sept. 13 -14.
The meeting will be held at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center, 63 North Burritt Ave. The public is invited to attend in-person or online via ZOOM video conferencing and will have a chance to speak to the Commission on any matter.
The Commission will be asked to approve four regulations:
Chapter 28: Regulation Governing Big or Trophy Game Animal or Game Bird or Gray Wolf Damage Claims
Chapter 34: Auxiliary Management Hunting Seasons
Chapter 35: Hunting Permit Regulations for Persons with Disabilities
Chapter 62: Regulation for Aquatic Invasive Species
The department will also ask the Commission to approve an acquisition of 120-acre inholding within the Spence and Moriarity wildlife management area to enhance public access.Â
According to the Game and Fish, planned informational presentations by the department include an update on the employee housing project in Jackson, the Cody Region office construction progress, elk license allocation history and proposed regulation timeline as well as an update on zebra mussels in South Dakota and the impacts to Wyoming.
