County Approves Agreement for Final Red Grade Trail Parking Lot

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted an agreement with Wagner Ranch Services to build the Aspen Parking Lot on the Red Grade Trail System.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained this is the final piece to be completed in the project.

The county will be using 100% of the grant funding, or just under $77,000.

Obermueller said the match for the grant funding came from the Sheridan Community Land Trust (SCLT) both in contract and in-kind money.

Once the project is complete and the final numbers are in, the SCLT may come to the commission to help with over-match funds, according to Obermueller.
