Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted a loan from the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) for funding for the Sheridan County Historic Courthouse and Jail Renovation Project.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained the scope of the project.
The $3 million loan through the SLIB is for a 10-year term at 1.375% interest.
Construction on the project is expected to begin in the spring of 2023.
