Johnson County’s Commissioners have voted to accept and approve the contract for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Grant for fiscal year 2022-23.
Commissioner’s Assistant Jody Telkamp, who administers the grant funding for the county, said they had applied for the funding on behalf of three entities and explained the distribution for the funds.
The county attorney’s office has reviewed the contract and had no issues with it.
The contract is in effect from October 1 of 2022 through September 30 of 2023.
