Kalif Shriners Joe Swartz and William Rather appeared on Sheridan Meida’s Public Pulse to announce this year’s Tunnel of Terror fundraiser.
The Kalif Shriners fraternity is for Masons, based on the tenets of Freemasonry but with the added elements of fun and fellowship as well as philanthropy.

Through fundraising efforts, the Shriners International hospitals help 23,000 children from around the world annually. Swatrz told listeners the experience of being a Shriner has changed and enriched his life.

One of the largest fundraisers for the Kalif Shriners is the annual Tunnel of Terror. The haunted house is organized and located in the tunnel system of the Kalif Shriners Temple at 145 W. Loucks St. in Sheridan.

The Tunnel of Terror opens Oct. 27, and will provide scares through Oct. 29. Cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family.
