Commission to Consider Establishment of Attainable Housing Council

At their regular meeting Tuesday, the Sheridan County Commission is expected to consider joing and therefore establishing the Sheridan County Attainable Housing Council (SCAHC), and creating a joint trust fund for the program.

According to Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger, the Sheridan City Council has already approved the proposal, allocating $1.5 million in ARPA funding to the program.

Bridger explains the program’s purpose.

The county is expected to contribute $1.5 million as well.
