The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has announced they will host two workshops on trap awareness and safety for pet owners in the Sheridan Region.
The workshops will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Sheridan Fulmer Library. The Gillette workshop will begin at 2:30 p.m. on the same day at the Campbell County Library on S. 4-J Road.
Wyoming Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program a little about the workshops during a recent appearance.

The main focus of the workshops will be time for questions and hands-on instruction releasing traps and snares.
The workshops are provided by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and the Wyoming State Trappers Association.
The Game and Fish request that attendees not bring their pet to the workshop. In case of inclement weather, the workshops will be rescheduled.
