Johnson County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer came before the county commission Tuesday seeking approval on the county’s 2023 Congestion Mititgation Air Quality (CMAQ) agreement with the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

Pehringer said the agreement will be for a total amount of $394,208 of which$350,366 will come from the federal government through WYDOT, with the county’s local match of $78,842.

He discussed the scope of the 2023 project.

Pehringer said the county did not receive the full amount they requested, so they will overmatch roughly $80,000 to make up the difference.

He said they will know where everything stands after the projects go out to bid in 2023.
