During their recent regular meeting, the hospital board of trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center discussed proposed changes to their Capital Purchase Policy, to set the limit at a higher level.
Board President Mark Schueler explained why the change was needed.
According to Schueler the draft gives the CEO the ability to make emergency purchases for the healthcare center for up to $50,000 which will later be ratified by the board at a later meeting.
The board approved the policy.
