Annexation Ordinances Presented at Council Study Session

Three annexation ordinances were presented to the Sheridan City Council this week. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

City of Sheridan Community Development Director Wade Sanner provided information to the Council on three separate annexation ordinances that will soon be considered for approval by the governing body.

Sanner talked about a state statute that pertains to the three annexations.

Ordinance 2261 annexes 14,308 square feet of Holloway Avenue Right of Way. Ordinance 2262 annexes 2.7 acres of Airport Road Right of Way. Sanner provided details on ordinance 2260, the DoubleDay Annexation.

The City Council is expected to consider first reading of the three annexation ordinances at an upcoming business meeting.
