JCTA Declines One-Percent Allocation from County

The Johnson County Tourism Association has opted to decline their allocation of funds from the One-Percent Committee for Fiscal Year 2023-24.

Johnson County Commission Chair Bill Novotny, at their Tuesday meeting, explained further.

The JCTA was allocated $10,000 by the One-Percent Committee from the county, and those funds will go back into the One-Percent unencumbered funds account.

Commissioner Jeff Shelley thanked the JCTA for being “good stewards of that money” in returning it if it wasn’t needed.
