While a guest host on Public Pulse Open Line Friday, Wendy Smith, vice-president with Sheridan College, discussed the recent designation of Wyoming’s Higher Educational system being ranked the fifth best in the country.
One caller to the program asked about when the college would be bringing back athletics, which were suspended back in 2020.
Smith said although there is currently no specific time, it is the plan to bring them back as soon a possible.
There are a lot of decisions to be made by President Tribley and the district board,
and she isn’t sure in what order the teams would be brought back, whether all at once or staggered, but publicly the president and the board have committed to bringing them back.
