Subdivision Request Considered by City Council

A subdivision request for property on Coffeen Avenue came before the Sheridan City Council Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Poll Motor Subdivision Approved

The Council unanimously approved a resolution for the Poll Motor Subdivision located at 1808, 1810, 1812 and 1858 Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer provided details of the subdivision request prior to the Council’s vote.

Mercer said the subdivision approval adjusts  the property line between the two parcels, creating a lot size of 2.5 acres for lot one and 4.1 acres for lot two.  City staff sent out 21 nearest neighbor notifications to property owners within 300 feet as part of the application and notifications were also advertised in the local paper. Staff did not receive any inquiries in response to the notifications.
