Easterseals Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain services focus on supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live self-directed and meaningful lives at home, at work and in the community.

Those services include learning and practicing healthy habits, as well as developing independence. Recently, through grants and a generous program developed by Tito’s Handmade Vodka known as the Block to Block Mission, Easterseals has partnered with Rooted in Wyoming to construct a raised bed garden for Easterseals’ clients.

Thanks to many volunteers’ work and donations from many businesses in the Sheridan community, the site has been prepared, tools are ready and building will begin June 26. RiW recruited volunteers Kent and Cathy Waugh as garden leaders and began the collaborative process of dreaming and designing a garden that would be productive, safe, welcoming and inclusive of the residents and clients of Easterseals. The garden was named by Easterseals’ clients. Referring to the question, who’s blue, and gardening being the answer, the garden will be known as the Whos Blue Garden.
