Alger Street Easement

At the April 17 business meeting of the Sheridan City Council, a resolution was approved by the Council authorizing City staff to work with Cady House LLC to develop a Sidewalk Use Rental Agreement. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer addressed the City Council this week about a proposed easement on Alger Street.

Mercer said the sidewalk use agreement was not feasible and that is what led to the request for an easement.

Councilor Kristen Jennings voiced her concerns with the easement.

The Alger Street easement passed by a vote of 6 to 1, with Councilor Jennings voting against the motion.
