Jo Co Comm OK’s Road Use and Maintenance Agreement

The Johnson County Commission has approved a road maintenance agreement between the county, Verizon Wireless, and Powder River Energy Corporation for access to the communications towers on Windy Ridge.

County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly and Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago discussed the agreement with the commission during their last meeting.

Connolly said the other entities had already agreed to sign the agreement once the commission had approved and signed it.

The commission voted to authorize Chairman Bill Novotny to sign the agreement.
