Resolution No. 714, which set the county’ holiday schedule for 2024 has been approved by the Johnson County Commission.
During their last meeting, the commission voted to approve the official holidays for county employees on Monday January 1, 2024 for New Year’s Day; Monday, January 15 for Equality Day; Monday, February 19 for President’s Day; Friday, March 29 for Good Friday; Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day; Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day; Monday, September 2 for Labor Day; Monday, October 14 for Columbus Day; Monday, November 11 for Veteran’s Day; Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving; and Wednesday, December 25 for Christmas.
The commission voted unanimously to approve the holiday schedule for the coming year.
