Wreaths Across America Event Coming to Sheridan Dec. 16

A wreath-laying ceremony will honor veterans locally and throughout the country next month.

Bev Leichtnam, with Wreaths Across America, came before the Sheridan County Commission during their last meeting to invite them and the public to the event.

Commissioner Holly Jennings encouraged the public to attend the ceremony.

The ceremony in Sheridan will be at the Municipal Cemetery with the laying of the wreaths at 9 a.m. with the ceremony beginning at 11.
