A number of items pertaining to development were addressed at the last regular business meeting of the Sheridan City Council in November. One of those items was first reading approval of an ordinance to rezone a couple of properties on Dry Ranch Road. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer says the rezone requests are for 2530 and 2580 Dry Ranch Road.

Mercer said Sheridan County currently owns and maintains Dry Ranch Road to the east of the two properties that are under consideration for being rezoned. Second reading of the ordinance to rezone the properties is an agenda item at Monday night’s City Council meeting. The ordinance must be approved three times before the rezone takes effect.
