Buffalo Council Makes Board Appointment

Buffalo’s City Council has approved Mayor Shane Schrader’s recommendation of Adam Todd to be appointed to the Johnson County Lodging Tax Joint Powers Board.

The council had no questions or comments on the recommendation before approving it.

Mayor Schrader announced that the city/county meeting will be Tuesday, February 20 at 7 a.m.; the next city council meeting will be the same day at 5 p.m.; the Planning & Zoning Board will have their meeting on Tuesday, February 27 at 1 p.m.

City offices will be closed on Monday, February 19 in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday.

And the One-Percent Funding application deadline is Friday, February 23 at 5 p.m.
