Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved Chairman Bill Novotny to sign a cooperative agreement for child support services in the county.
The agreement, between the State of Wyoming Department of Family Services Child Support Program and the County Clerk of Court, outlines the responsibilities of the clerk of court and employee requirements in how they receive and distribute child support payments and related requirements, according to Clerk of Court Paige Rhoads.
Chairman Novotny asked Rhoads about the importance of the program.
Civil Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago recommended the commission approve and sign it saying he reviewed it and it is the same agreement both parties have agreed to in the past.
