The City of Sheridan issued a media release Monday stating that the City would like to address the public’s concerns related to the devastating circumstances that led to the destruction of a local homeowner’s property during a police standoff. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

City of Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger emphasized the City’s deep sense of responsibility towards its residents and they will continue to stand with the community during this challenging time.

Mayor Bridger said the City appreciates the community’s patience, understanding and cooperation as we navigate this recovery process together. It was also announced Monday that City Hall will be closed to the public on Friday, March 1 from 11:30 am to 5 pm to allow City employees to attend the Celebration of Life for Sergeant Nevada Krinkee. City Hall will resume regular business hours at 8 am Monday, March 4.
