Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified a License Agreement with Centurylink/Lumen for a bored crossing installation/repair work for the Dayton Water Treatment Plant.
According to the agreement, the bore will be done on County Road #92, a/k/a Tongue Canyon Road.
A letter from Lumen to County Engineer Ken Muller says service to the Dayton Water Treament Plant has been disrupted and needs repaired. Dayton Mayor Clifford Reed has placed a new cable from the service location to Tongue Canyon Road and Centurylink will need to bore across to existing cable on the other side of the road.
The county has charged no fee for the license agreement.
