Sheridan Commission Approves PHO Contract

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted the annual contract between the county and Public Health Officer Dr. Benjamin Widener.

Administrative Director Cameron Duff gave more details on the contract during the regular commission meeting Tuesday.

Duff was asked to explain the funding further, and he said the contract approved at the commission’s last meeting was to accept the $10,000 provided by the state, while the current contract was to allocate the funds to the public health officer.

The commission approved the contract.
