Sheridan Commission Rejects Greig Rezone Request

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during their last regular meeting, voted to not approve a rezone request by the Janet Shober Revocable Trust to enable the development of a conservation design subdivision.

County Planner Mark Reid gave more details to the commission.

In the public hearing, a number of neighbors near the property spoke in opposition to the rezone and asked the commission to keep the property zoned as A-Agricultural, outnumbering the one who spoke in favor.

After discussion, the commissioners voted 4-1 to not allow the rezone.
