Tongue River High School in Dayton will be open Wednesday October 2. School staff have been in contact with students and parents regarding this change. Slack School will be closed Wednesday. No other schools in the area are currently impacted by the fire. Sheridan County School District 1 Superintendent, Jeff Jones, has been in constant communication with emergency personnel and will notify students and staff if the situation changes.
