JCHC Board Approves Replacement of Air Handlers

The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center, during their recent meeting, approved the replacement of fans on air handlers in areas of the facility, to extend their useful life.

Board President Dr. Mark Schueler discussed the need with the board during the meeting.

According to discussion at the meeting, the air handlers that need to be updated are not failing, but the recommendation was to update the parts before they fail.

The board voted to approve roughly $22,000 for the replacement of the parts and installation on the air handling units.
