The 29th Annual Sheridan Christmas Stroll begins at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29. Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Program Development Director Teresa Detimore and Member Relations Director Bobbi Mitzel made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss Sheridan’s biggest Christmas event downtown.

Detimore said she’s placed some calls and confirmed kiddos will have an opportunity to visit with Santa Claus during the day long event.

Stroll buttons are available for purchase at participating businesses and the Chamber. Button purchasers are encouraged to continue wearing their Stroll buttons on Stroll Day and throughout the holiday shopping season for the Chamber’s “Get Caught Shopping” campaign.

If people get caught shopping in participating businesses by Chamber elves while wearing their Stroll button, they can win Chamber Bucks in amounts from $25 to $200.
Continuing the extended hours, this year’s Christmas Stroll will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29.
Stroll button holders can begin checking for matching button numbers that morning. Main Street and Grinnell Plaza will be closed from 4 to 8 p.m. for hay wagon rides, marshmallow roasting, free food and beverages and more. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting with children and available for photos at the WYO Theater from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
