JCSD1 Clinic Director Reports Patient Increase From ‘23 to ‘24

The Director of the Family Medical Center (FMC) Clinic at the Johnson County Healthcare Center (JCHC), Heidi Huntley, gave her report to the hospital board at their last meeting, updating numbers of patients during December of 2024 and describing a recent all-staff meeting to improve the clinic.

Huntley reported there were 1,322 visits to the clinic in December, which included 25 newly-established patients.

There were 427 patients seen in the acute clinic during the month, up from 355 in 2023.

Total clinic visits for 2024 were 16,014, up from 15,640 the previous year.

New patients remained consistent, with 344 in 2024 and 342 in 2023.

And Acute Patients increased from 3,757 in 2023 to 4,292 in 2024.
