Jo Co Planner Reports First Major Subdivision in 15 Years

Johnson County Planner Jim Waller, during his report to the county commission at their last meeting, discussed the first major subdivision in the county that is currently “moving through the process.”

He gave details on the proposed subdivision near Lake DeSmet.

Waller said the developer has decided to build out the entirety of the North Shore PUD, which was designed for 60 lots but has only 48 platted to this point.

He now is planning to develop the other 12 lots in the PUD.
