News – Sheridan Media
Formerly known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May and commemorates all men and women who have died in military service for the United States.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sergeant Rebecca Bridger-Dahmke of the Wyoming Army National Guard’s 67th Army Band, invited the community to the 3rd Annual Memorial Day Tribute Event, organized and presented by Champion Kane Funeral Home.
The event will recognize and honor the sacrifice of brave men and women who gave their lives in defense of this country. There will be food, music and good camaraderie.
The day will also offer the community and the branches of the military an opportunity for marines, sailors and airmen to give their brothers and sisters proper recognition to those whose deaths have not yet been honored.
