Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his report to the city council this week, gave recognition for his officers going above the call of duty to make recent arrests.
Bissett details one arrest that came from an observant officer during a routine check.
Another incident involved a domestic dispute where a search warrant was issued and methamphetamine was discovered in the home, resulting in one adult being charged for felony possession and endangering a child.
Bissett said a teacher at the high school had a credit card stolen and about $800 of items charged to the account.
They found the person responsible and recovered the property, returned it and the teacher will be reimbursed.
Bissett said his officers are being proactive, going above and beyond, and working hard.
