Jo Co Commission Makes Museum Board Appointment

The Johnson County Commission this week considered an appointment to the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum Board.

According to discussion, there was one seat available for a three-year term.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny said there had been one applicant for the position.

The commission then voted to appoint Kathleen Bruce (BROO-see) Connell to the position, effective from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
