Sheridan Commission OK’s NOI to Vacate Rapid Creek Road

A Resolution for a Notice of Intent (NOI) to vacate a public road known as County Road 85, or Rapid Creek Road in western Sheridan County was considered by the county commission.

County Engineer Ken Muller said the petition for the vacation had previously been received by the county and the commission had appointed him as viewer in the matter.

Muller was asked if the road gives access to public lands, which he said it only accesses private lands.

The commission voted to go ahead with the NOI.
