Sheridan Commission Discusses Rapid Creek Road Vacation

The vacation request of Rapid Creek Road in Sheridan County was discussed by the county commission and County Engineer Ken Muller, who was appointed as the viewer for the vacation.

According to the Oath of Viewer, Muller will consider whether Rapid Creek Road, or any road in the vicinityis required; the public and private convenience and expense of maintaining Rapid Creek Road; whether in his judgment the proposed vacation is practical, and ought to be vacated; and the probable expense of vacating including damages to property owners, and the benefits of vacating the road.

Muller will give a report to the commission at a future meeting for their consideration.
