Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett reported to the city council about an incident at a local motel involving a domestic dispute with a gun.
He gave more details.
Bissett also reported receiving complaints about speeding on Lobban Avenue and has ordered more patrols in the area. He asked motorists to slow down on alternate routes while construction is happening on Main Street.
He also touched on some recent fire incidents.
Bissett also said that during the month of June, dispatch handled just over 3,000 calls into the 9-1-1 center, with officers responding to roughly 800 of them, resulting in four arrests.
