The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has released the latest update on the Buffalo Main Street Project, as of July 23.

On South Main Street from the Bypass Road to Interstate 25, paving has been completed. Centerline tabs are in place in preparation for striping, which is scheduled for the end of season when all paving is completed.

On South Main Street at the Cemetery Creek Culvert, traffic is expected to be moved to the west side of the culvert project on Monday, June 28. Motorists are encouraged to watch for changes to traffic control.

Downtown Main Street at the Clear Creek Bridge, contractors will be placing an epoxy overlay on the bridge Monday, July 28 through Wednesday, July 30, weather permitting.

Expect lane closures over the bridge. West Fetterman and the parking area in front of the Busy Bee and Occidental will be closed when work is being done on the west side of the bridge. Work is expected to be completed before the Fair and Rodeo Parade on August 2.

North Main Street from Fort to Hart Street, the contractor has moved on to the last few blocks of the utility work.

WYDOT also wanted to ask pedestrians to utilize sidewalks with caution and remind the public that sidewalks are closed to bicycles and electric bikes.
