Buffalo City Works Director Keven Silbernagel, in his recent report to the city council, said the Municipal Outdoor Pool closed for the season on August 16.
Silbernagel said city crews have been busy fixing potholes and chip sealing and will continue to do so while the weather permits.
He was asked about the tree that has been down on the corner of Fort Street and Carrington Avenue for a number of weeks.
He said when these things happen the city just pushes them out of the way of traffic and that’s really all they can do.
City Building Inspector Terry Asay added that, according to city code, rights-of-way and easements are the responsibility of the homeowner to maintain and/or clean up in theses instances.
