Sheridan County’s Commissioners have accepted and approved an agreement between the county and the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security for a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Post Fire.
The grant will fund the completion of the Sheridan Warning System Project as explained by County Emergency Management Coordinator Jesse Ludikhuize.
Ludikhuize was asked about the locations chosen for the monitors.
The locations were not disclosed during discussion.
The grant award totals just under $48,000 with the county’s match of roughly $12,000.
