Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified a Federal Lands Access Program Memorandum of Agreement (FLAP MOA) for the Red Grade Road, Phase II project
The agreement outlines the county will provide preliminary engineering, acquire needed rights-of-way and easements, construction engineering, and construction and construction contracting for the project.
According to the agreement, the project budget shows an estimated cost for preliminary engineering and environmental compliance of about $1.5 million; construction engineering of $1.32 million; a construction contract of $9.2 million; and a contingency of $1.763 million, for a total estimated cost of $13.8 million.
The commission voted to ratify the agreement in their recent meeting’s Consent Agenda.
