The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) issued the latest update on the Buffalo Main Street Project for Friday, October 10.
On North Main Street from Fort Street to Hart Street, paving is complete.
Striping will be completed this week, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to stay well behind the nurse truck and stay in the lane to avoid tracking of the fresh paint.
The striping contractor has asked that motorists avoid parking along Main Street, as they need all the room they can get, and would not like to see any enamel-based paint getting on any vehicles.
Work still to be completed includes concrete sidewalks and ADA work and the tie-in of the water line at Hart Street.
South Main Street at the Cemetery Creek Culvert is ready for striping, and parking will be closed intermittently while striping is completed.
Work to be completed here includes shoulder work, back-filling and seeding. Motorists should watch for heavy truck traffic moving in and out of the area as these tasks are completed.
Soil, rock, and other debris at the bypass intersection will be removed and the area reclaimed.
WYDOT says they are on schedule to meet the October 31 completion date on the project.
