Senator Barrasso: ‘Innocent People are Collateral Damage in Democrats Dangerous Shutdown Game’

U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), Senate Majority Whip, spoke on the Senate Floor this week about the ongoing government shutdown. Senator Barrasso said over two weeks into the shutdown, Democrats’ are continuing to play a dangerous game.

On Thursday, the Senate, for the 10th time in the last several weeks, failed to pass a Republican bill to extend funding and end the shutdown. The failed vote Thursday means the shutdown will continue into next week.
