Sheridan Woman Sentenced to Prison for Two Felony Charges

A 32-year-old Sheridan woman was sentenced to prison Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Sheridan Woman Sentenced to Prison for Two Felony Charges

District Court Judge Darci Phillips accepted the terms of the plea agreement reached with the State and sentenced Jade Roundstone to 2 to 6 years in prison for each of the charges of felony aggravated assault and battery and felony unlawful entry into an occupied structure. The prison sentences will run concurrent to one another. Roundstone  was ordered to pay $535 in court costs and assessments and was given 201 days credit for time served of presentence confinement. Roundstone was remanded to the custody of the Sheridan County Detention Center pending transfer to prison.

According to court documents, on March 30, 2025, Roundstone entered a residence on Gould Street by crawling through a dog door and then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and  proceeded to threaten an individual inside the residence with the knife before chasing the person out of the home while yielding the knife.
