FPK/BTA Veteran’s Program at Kearney Hall

November 4, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

Our nation, born 250 years ago, might not have survived more than a few years save for a handful of intrepid patriots who made up General George Washington’s Culper Spy Ring. Without spies working for the American forces in the American Revelation, the War of independence may have turned out very differently.

To celebrate Veteran’s Day, on November 9, at 2:00 p.m., at Kearney Community Hall, H.B. Puckett will give a talk on General Washington’s Spy Ring.

Following Puckett’s talk, Sonny Reisch will talk about how espionage and surveillance played as large a part in the Civil War as did the actual battles.

The program is hosted by the Fort Phil Kearny/Bozeman Trail Association and Fort Phil Kearny State Historic Site. A period military uniform exhibit will be on display provided by Kearny’s Frontier Regulars. There will be a silent auction featuring history books and artwork benefiting the FPK/BTA. Click here to see silent auction list. There is no charge for the program.
