The SCSD#1 Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, November 18, in Big Horn.
The board honored the Big Horn High School Championship Girls Volleyball Team. BHHS Principal Ryan Fuhrman said it was an honor to join the celebration of the team. He said that a three-peat was not easy, and that they didn’t win every game, but they powered through to win the state championship.
Coach Allison Nikont talked about her team.
Coach Cody Ball introduced his state champion cross-country girls, two which were attended the meeting.

He said this is only the second year for cross-country at Big Horn High School.
Big Horn Elementary Principal Brad Gregorich gave a presentation about Big Horn Elementary. He talked about his new staff this year.
He said they have recently added an elementary school choir, with 3-5th graders, led by Tyler Rogers. Rogers had this to say about the choir.

The choir treated the board to two musical selections. Here is a short clip from the song, Ghost Ship.

Rogers said the choir is all volunteer, and the kids are always excited to come to practice. Several parents of choir members attended the meeting, and there was a standing ovation when they were finished.
In other business the board approved two early graduation requests, and appointed Roy Garber to the Whitney Benefits board for an additional four-year term.
