Sheridan Commission Approves Property Tax Refund

Sheridan County’s Commissioners discussed a property tax refund due to an error in a subdivision parcel, as brought to them by County Assessor Paul Fall.

He explained how the error happened.

Commissioner Nick Siddle asked if the refund was for the previous five years, and Fall said yes, that was historically what the county has done in these situations.

The commission voted to approve the refund.
