Johnson County Weed and Pest District employees will now be eligible to participate in the county’s health insurance plan, after the county commission gave approval during their meeting this week.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny gave more details.

The Weed and Pest District will be responsible for all costs associated with adding their employees to the county’s health insurance plan, according to discussion.
