WYO PLAY will present a one-night-only performance by the Middle School Drama Club, “A Night Under the Stars” by playwright Tracy Wells, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 6.
The WYO PLAY Middle School Drama Club brings together students from Big Horn and Tongue River middle schools and features 12 theater students in a dramedy focused on connection, courage and community. Set outdoors beneath an open sky, the play follows characters seeking to step away from daily distractions and reconnect with nature and one another. Scenes include building s’mores, sharing ghost stories around a campfire and navigating difficult conversations.
Featuring WYO PLAY Middle School Drama Club members Alma Gamblin, Sanibel Kerns, Alaina Schaefer, Elizabeth Peterson, Paisley Scott, Cassidy Warner, Tina Ross, Josephine Doney, Breklyn Curtis, Dreya Curtis and Sophia Sheffield, “A Night Under the Stars” is produced through an arrangement with Stage Partners.
The WYO PLAY Middle School Drama Club is part of the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center’s youth arts programming.
General admission tickets are $8 and are available at wyotheater.com or at the WYO Theater box office.
