Buffalo’s City Council discussed a request by the Johnson County Semiquincentennial Committee for approval of street closures for a parade scheduled for the Fourth of July this summer.
Kristan Kenyon, representing the committee, gave details on their plans for the celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday.
The council voted to approve the road closures and parade route for the parade on July 4.
According to Kenyon, the committee is still looking to add other events for the celebration, and we will have more on those as they are announced.
