Sheridan Commission Awards Contract for Auditing Services

During their regular meeting Tuesday, Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered bids for auditing services for the county for Fiscal Years 2026 through 2028.

County Administrative Director Cameron Duff gave more details on the bids received.

The commission took the recommendations of the Finance Committee and accepted the bid from Porter, Muirhead, Cornia, & Howard for Audit Preparation Services in the amount of $192,000 over the three year contract.

They also accepted the bid from Jones Simkins, LLC for Professional Financial and Compliance Audit Services in the amount of $228,500 over the same three-year period.
